Administrative and Human Resources Committee
- Studies and advises the Board of Directors on all operational procedures as recommended by the management team or other Board committees
- Acts as a sounding board for management team recommendations regarding new ideas and innovations in the total District operations
- Reviews management team recommendations regarding employment of personnel and related topics and acts as an agent in reporting the management team recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Reviews and assists in the development of District staff development, ins​ervice and evaluation programs
- Reviews staff professional meeting requests as recommended by the management team
- Assists the management team in reviewing and implementing effective procedures for Great Oaks and affiliated District relations
- Serves as a hearing board in the appeals procedure for matters concerning affirmative action, discrimination, equal opportunity, personnel suspension or termination, and student suspension or expulsion
- Plans and assists the management team in recommending necessary changes for all future expansion of the District
- Assists in developing effective relations with the communications media
- Assists the management team in studies and recommendations relating to work with the non-public schools
- Acts as an agent in reporting to the Board of Directors on assignments of this Committee
- Acts upon all requests made by the Board of Directors, its chairman, and the management team in areas related to the Committee responsibilities
