Taking a Stand Against Bullying

Taking a Stand Against Bullying

Great Oaks does not tolerate bullying on its campuses. While it has not been a widespread problem, we remain vigilant through several efforts:

  • Educating students and teachers about how to recognize bullying and harassment, and how to stop it.
  • Providing a way to report bullying.
  • Creating policies and procedures that protect victims and discipline those who bully or harass students.

You can anonymously report anything that is suspicious or endangering you, your friends or your school. Text or call 844-SaferOH (844-723-3764)

There have been twp documented incidents of student bullying or harassment from January 2018 to July 2018.  We are required to report this information to the Board of Directors every six months to comply with Policy 5111.52, Prohibition of Harassment or Bullying of Students Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code Section 3313.666.  This will be reported again in January 2019.

See below for the procedure and form to submit a complaint in writing.
