Becoming certified as a diesel technician can lead to numerous career options working with a wide range of diesel-powered equipment, medium- and heavy-duty trucks, earthmovers, and more. High school students interested in the Industrial Diesel Mechanics program at Scarlet Oaks can learn more about possible paths on Thursday, August 5 from 3-7 pm. The diesel career fair for incoming high school students and their families will be held in the Industrial Diesel Mechanics lab at Scarlet Oaks Career Campus, 300 Scarlet Oaks Drive in Sharonville.
Employers from Ohio CAT, RUSH Enterprises, Palmer Trucks Kenworth, Raymond SCI, and Pro Lift will be on hand to discuss potential careers and the success of Scarlet Oaks graduates they’ve hired.
The Industrial Diesel Mechanics program prepares students to earn Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications and to begin a job placement while still in high school. Space is still available for high school students for fall 2021.
