On a typical day, there are about 1,000 openings for state tested nursing assistants (STNAs) listed on the OhioMeansJobs website.  The field is so competitive that some companies offer signing bonuses.

The good news is that STNA training is available in the Sharonville area at the Scarlet Oaks Career Campus.  Classes are Monday-Thursday evening from 5:00-10:30 from April 7 to May 4.

STNAs provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or other medical professionals.  STNA certification qualifies the holder to work in any STNA position in Ohio.

For more information about the evening STNA training, call the Great Oaks Health Professions Academy at 513.961.4220 or go to adults.greatoaks.com.
