The Diamond Oaks FFA Chapter is hosting a fundraiser benefiting Cincinnati Children’s Hospital brain cancer research. The event will take place on Saturday, October 19th, from 12 to 3 pm at Diamond Oaks Career Campus Equine Center, 6375 Harrison Avenue, and is open to the public.

Horse/cart rides, petting zoo and photo opportunities are available free for all cancer patients and their family members, and to the general public for a donation to Diamond Oaks FFA for Sophie’s Angel Run (SAR).

Diamond Oaks FFA students will have concessions and other items available for purchase. Donations: Cash or checks made payable to “Diamond Oaks FFA” may be given to any Diamond Oaks FFA student prior to or during the event.

Please, no personal pets are allowed at the event.

The Diamond Oaks FFA includes students in the Equine Science and Veterinary Assisting programs at Diamond Oaks Career Campus.

SAR is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise much-needed funds for pediatric brain tumor research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) to honor Sophie Meinhardt. A former Diamond Oaks student had a special connection to Sophie and her family and wanted to incorporate the organization into their event.
