Fourteen Diamond Oaks students qualify for state business competition

Fourteen students in Diamond Oaks’ Web Applications and Game Development program are headed to state Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition after dominating regional events.

State qualifiers are:

Network Design Team: Mina Bolser, Mt. Healthy; Luke Kellett, Finneytown; Nicholas Lindner, Oak Hills
Admin Support Team: Charles Becker, Taylor; John Butler, Mt. Healthy; Roland Jacobs, Harrison; Thomas Roth, Mt. Healthy
Network Administration using Microsoft: Brayden Brunow, Harrison
PC Servicing and Troubleshooting: Bryce Peipmeier, Oak Hills
Computer Security: Alex Bond, Harrison
Visual Basic Programming: Keegan Falls, Harrison
Medical Office Procedures: Jahier Jones, Mt. Healthy
Desktop Publishing: Jai’len Smith, North College Hill
Fundamentals of Web Design:  Joshua Gardner, Finneytown

BPA is a national student organization promoting business, technical and marketing skills, with 43,000 members in over 2,300 chapters in 23 states.  The first five students in each category are awarded a certificate of excellence; the top three also win medals.  Those who earn the highest scores in each category will also compete at the state BPA competition.
