Diamond Oaks students support Sophie’s Angel at Green Township Car Show

September 16 is a great time to enjoy beautiful cars, pets and horses—and you can see them all at Diamond Oaks Career Campus.  And, you can help support pediatric brain tumor research at the same time.

The Green Township Car Show, sponsored by the Green Township Police Citizens Academy Alumni, lasts from 9 am to 3 pm at Diamond Oaks, 6375 Harrison Avenue. During the show, Diamond Oaks FFA students will accept donations for Sophie’s Angel Run, a local organization raising funds for pediatric brain tumor research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.

From 9 am to noon, Diamond Oaks Veterinary Assisting students will assist with the SPCA Cincinnati Mobile Adoption Unit.  From noon to 3:00, Equine Science and Management students will show horses from the Diamond Oaks program.

Sophie’s Angel Run is a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise much-needed funds for pediatric brain tumor research at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) to honor Sophie Meinhardt. For more information about Sophie’s Angel Run, visit https://sophiesangelrun.org.
