Great Oaks earns third consecutive Top Workplaces recognition

For the third year in a row, Great Oaks Career Campuses employees have rated the public school district as one of the best places in the region to work.  The 2018 Top Workplaces honor was given by the Cincinnati Enquirer, and is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.

Great Oaks was a 2016 and 2017 Top Workplace.  The district was also named a Top Workplace in 2010 and 2014, the two previous years that Great Oaks participated in the survey.

“We’re pleased that our associates are dedicated to their students and their work,” said Great Oaks President/CEO Harry Snyder.  “Their feedback on the survey shows that they believe in our purpose, which is to be the first choice in providing innovative career training to empower individuals and communities.”

Great Oaks ranked 7% to 12% above the average of primary and secondary schools participating in the survey.

“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”

“Becoming a Top Workplace isn’t something organizations can buy,” Claffey said. “It’s an achievement organizations have worked for and a distinction that gives them a competitive advantage. It’s a big deal.”
