Four students were chosen as standouts among the student body at Laurel Oaks, the Wilmington campus of the Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Education. These students were nominated by teachers who recognized their excellent grades, leadership, and attendance as well as the impact they have on their school and community.
The Students of the Month for February are:
Shannon O’Keefe, a senior in the Early Childhood Education program. Shannon comes to Laurel Oaks from Blanchester High School.
Amber Palmer, junior in the Health Technology program. Amber is a student from Wilmington High School.
For March, the Laurel Oaks Students of the Month are:
Jonathon Williamson of Hillsboro. Jonathon is a senior in the Masonry program.
Angelica Williams, a junior from Fairfield High School. Angelica is in the Business Management and Administrative Services program.
The students were honored at a luncheon which included their parents, home school administrators, and Laurel Oaks and Great Oaks staff and administrators.
