The week of March 14, 2008, the Laurel Oaks Career Development Campus participated in PI Week.  PI is the math term used for 3.14 and is the anniversary of the invention of the Math formula.  Each student was encouraged to vote for a teacher who would be "pied" in the face to end PI week.  Each day during BUG, a question was asked that was related to PI, and the first correct answer given to Ms. Boyer-Math Teacher, received a prize.  On Friday the 14th, each student received a piece of pie and then two staff members were "pied in the face" depending on the most and least amount of votes they received.  Ms. Boyer, and Mr. Lorz were the staff members who were "pied".  The students enjoyed the activities that were involved with PI Week.
