More than 200 business leaders, school officials, Board members, and parents and students filled the front entrance to the Scarlet Oaks campus on Kemper Road December 12 for dedication ceremonies. 

The building was renovated and expanded as part of a multi-year project to upgrade all Great Oaks campuses.  After months of discussions with students, families, business and educational partners, as well as hard work by staff, architects and contractors, Scarlet Oaks has been transformed into a more welcoming, secure and accessible environment.  State-of-the-art labs now provide more opportunities for students in advanced technical careers such as health and engineering.  Advanced technology has been included to support the demand for more rigorous academics, and new spaces and an accessible cybrary now welcome people from the community.
