Laurel Oaks Students of the Month

November  2007

Laurel Oaks selects Stratton Giovenetti and Daisy Brooks as the November Students of the Month.  Stratton, a junior from Hillsboro High School, is in the Agriculture/Industrial Diesel Mechanics Program. He was selected due to his outstanding leadership skills, his attendance, and his grades. “Stratton displays professional work ethics while in my lab and is a very hard working student,” says Mr. Davis. Stratton is very involved in FFA as well as his community.

Daisy Brooks is a senior in Early Childhood Education from Clinton Massie High School.  Daisy was selected due to her grades, attitude, and community service participation.  Mrs. Dare, her instructor, states that, “ Daisy is not only an outstanding student, but a sincere, dependable, caring young lady.”  Daisy was also a candidate for Homecoming Queen in the fall for Clinton Massie High School.

Stratton and Daisy will be recognized the following ways for being student of the month:

At luncheon in Restaurant Operations with an invitation to home school representatives and parents

Letter sent to parents with a copy sent to home school principal

Pictures taken and posted in each building at Laurel Oaks
