HOME SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

EAST CLINTON: Laurel Oaks Seniors ARE invited to attend Senior Field Day at East Clinton on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 13.  Mr. Lynch will send us the field day schedule as soon as it is finalized.

East Clinton students can pick up their caps and gowns on Friday, May 16th from 7:30-3:00.  All school fees must be paid before picking up cap & gowns.

East Clinton will NOT be hosting an "After Prom" this year.

May 21st, is graduation practice from 9-11. Please be here at 8:45, will start promptly at 9 a.m. Caps & gowns will be handed out after graduation practice. Students must arrive on time and remain during the entire practice to participate in the graduation ceremony. All fees must be paid prior to graduation practice.

Sunday 5/25 is Graduation Ceremonies at 1:30 at the H.S. Gym. Seniors need to be at the Middle school gym by 12:30.

BLANCHESTER: Seniors need to pick up their cap and gown at BHS Fri May 16 ….no other day will be permitted for pick up prior to Senior Ceremony!!!

CLINTON MASSIE: Prom pictures are in. See Mrs. McCarty at the H.S.

FAIRFIELD:   *Senior Mandatory Graduation Practice May 27 @ 7:30am (more details later) *Senior picnic following graduation practice (more details later) Please let me know if there are any questions.

Class meetings will be held on Friday, 5/9 at 7:45 a.m. All Laurel Oaks students are to attend. Seniors must be there.

GREENFIELD: There will be a Senior Choir rehearsal tonight and Wednesday night at 8:15 in the Auditorium. This is for all seniors for the senior day assembly.

Class meetings will be held Friday morning at 7:45. Laurel Oaks students will be approximately 45 minutes late arriving at Laurel. Seniors should report to the Vocational Cafeteria and Juniors to the Auditorium.

 

HILLSBORO: All seniors need to bring in senior pictures & baby pictures for the Senior farewell. All pictures are to be turned into Bev Hottle in the attendance office with your name attached.

LYNCHBURG CLAY:  Copies of the 2007 yearbooks can be purchased in room 404 at the H.S.  Cost is $35.

Seniors can pickup their Caps & Gowns starting May 12th, as long as they are paid for.

Any Junior/Senior who did not fill out a survey at Jr./Sr. Breakfast may pick up one at the H.S. You can return them to Brittany Holder or Julie Dye.

Tickets for May 10, performance of the spring play, Yearbook are now on sale in the office or from any cast member. Tickets are $3 .

MIAMI TRACE: Seniors: If you are interested in a Memory DVD, see Mrs. Layman for a brochure.

Attention students – if you plan to purchase prom tickets, you must have your school fees paid. Any junior or senior that drives to school will need to have parking fee paid and proof of a parking pass will be needed.

SENIORS: Did you know that you can take up to nine quarter hours of classes this summer at Southern State Community College absolutely free of tuition? Al you need is a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Fill out the Superstart Scholarship application found in the Guidance office.

WASHINGTON C.H.: Seniors – Have you ordered your cap & gown for graduation? If you haven’t, you need to see Patty in the Principal’s office.

Juniors & Seniors: Please make sure you check your email daily for updated information from Washington. Mr. Hodson sends these emails on a regular basis. If you don’t receive emails from you home school contact Mr. Hodson.

WILMINGTON:     They can buy tickets before or after school with Mr. Geggie (a science teacher here at the high school). WHS staff will not be going to Laurel Oaks to sell tickets. Tickets will not be sold at the door the night of prom. Prom is May 17th 8:00 to midnight at Roberts Centre. If students are bringing someone who is not a WHS student, they must also fill out a "visitor/guest" form to have their date approved prior to prom….Prices are $25 for Seniors & Juniors & guest are $35.

Seniors: Students will be able to pick up their cap/gown in the morning on May 15, (in the Common area), the Guidance Counselor's will be distributing graduation tickets for family members. Please be present or send a parent to Laurel Oaks on this day to get your cap/gown, and graduation tickets. If you do not attend, you will come to the high school to get your materials. Wilmington students reminding them to come to see us on May 15 even if you do not plan on going through the graduation ceremony?

 

STUDENT INFORMATION:

Opening & Closing Practices will take place in Mrs. Chmidlings Health Tech. Lab, during Bug, for this wk. (Starting Tomorrow). We will practice in the Aud. Next week. Award Ceremony the 14th. During Bug and could possibly trickle over into 2nd period. Please (Jr. Officers only) report to Chmidlings lab during bug after attendance has been taken. Thanks!!

5/17 - Field trip to Dayton’s International Fair

5/23 – AFJROTC Field Trip to VA Memorial Day festival

6/15-23 – Summer Leadership Encampment at Wright State University

The bus from Greenfield McClain will be about 45mins late Friday 9th and about 1hr late Friday 16th
