Eric Wireman is a 2004 graduate of Great Oaks' Automotive Ford ASSET/Associate Degree (UC) program. Before Eric enrolled in this program, he graduated from the Ohio State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy/Turf Management. However, he knew that he loved cars and wanted a job that allowed him time with his family. He worked at Goodyear and BP during his college days. His wife searched the Internet and found the Ford ASSET program. He enrolled in September 2002 and graduated two years later. He was sponsored by Kings Lincoln Mercury during the program and hired as an automotive technician after graduation. Eric is now a Senior Master Technician. This prestigious credential means that he has passed all nine ASE certifications and is a master mechanic in three areas: chassis, powertrain and suspension. This November, Eric and other Senior Master Technicians will be honored on a Caribbean Cruise. Eric liked the program's attention to detail and the instructor's emphasis on bumper-to-bumper service and repair. The program covered everything including small things such as wind noise and water leaks to transmissions. Eric also pointed out that the program is "hands-on" which reinforced the classroom instruction. Congratulations to Eric!
