I knew I needed a fresh start – and Diamond Oaks provided me with just that,” shared Amanda Luhn, 2005 graduate of the E-Marketing program and Oak Hills High School.
Growing up around computers and enjoying what the field could provide, Amanda entered this innovative program at Diamond Oaks. “I went from getting D’s and F’s to A’s and B’s. Learning for once made sense to me, and I felt a lot more focused.”
Amanda entered a certificate program in Internet Marketing through Cincinnati State during her senior year of high school. She is set to finish work on the certificate this fall. Part of education was paid for by the Cheviot-Westwood Kiwanis scholarship she received before leaving Diamond.
In addition to these accomplishments, Amanda has many others. She served as DECA president her senior year, was a member of the President’s Student Leadership team, was inducted into the National Technical Honor Society and coordinated a memory book and slide show for the Diamond Oaks graduation ceremony.
