If you are interested in participating in Operation Zero, please let call Ms. Lutz at Amelia High School.

What is Operation Zero?  Operation Zero is a program that is sponsored by the Union Township Kiwanis, Clermont Sherriff Department, & The Ohio State Highway Patrol.  Its purpose is to eliminate the premature, avoidable traffic deaths of our students at Amelia High.  We simply want to keep our students alive.  The program sponsors events to promote safe driving and wise decision making.  Students have to sign up to be eligible to attend the program.  ALL STUDENTS MAY SIGN UP.  ALL GRADE LEVELS MAY SIGN UP.  This is a program for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and Seniors.  For every year a student attends Operation Zero they earn points.  These points earn them tickets for the drawing for prizes at the end of the school year at the spring assembly.  Points will accumulate from year to year.  A freshmen who just attends the programs every year will have earned 12 points for the chance of winning a brand new car.
