In order to qualify for membership in honor society, a
student must have a 3.5 grade point average while attending Diamond Oaks.In addition, a student must not have a
semester grade that is lower than a “C” at any time.
Once a student meets these grade qualifications, his or her
attendance is considered.Each student
must meet the 95% attendance requirement for a career-technical
certificate.In addition, a student
must have no credit deficiencies toward obtaining a high school diploma and
must be a participating member of his or her career-technical service
organization.Finally, a student must
have the recommendation of his or her instructors at Diamond Oaks and the
approval from the administrative and counseling staff at Diamond Oaks.
When all these criteria are met, a student is invited to
join the Diamond Oaks Chapter of the National Technical Honor Society.
