Welcome to an Award Winning School: Laurel Oaks is proud to be a “Gold Improvement” School, one of the top fifty schools in the nation as a part of the High Schools That Work Network.

1. School Day is 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.

2. You can drive your car. Parking is free, but you will need to get a parking permit. Your home school also provides transportation.

 3. Students are required to attend ten days in the program they have signed up for.

4. Please continue to play sports and/or other club activities at your home school. We encourage you to attend your home school dances and events.

 5. Your counselor from your home school will try to come out to the campus, once a month,  to meet with you during the B.U.G. period (8:30 am – 9:00 am).

6. Announcements are sent from your home school and posted on a bulletin board in the Mall Area.   Please check them before school and at lunchtime.

 7. Your diploma comes from your high school. Students who attend Great Oaks also earn a Career/Technical Certificate and Career Passport.

8. You are encouraged to make up any credit deficiencies as soon as possible. Work with your home school counselor.
