Project SEARCH is a unique workforce development program designed for students with special needs. Because the program is at a hospital or business, you will spend your school day at that site. The program is a one-year program designed to provide you with a variety of worksite experiences in a business/ hospital setting. During the school year you will rotate through three or four different jobs and learn the skills of that career. Each experience will help build the skills you need for the world of work. The goal of the program is a job at that business or somewhere in your local community. While you attend Project SEARCH, you can earn three elective credits good toward your high school diploma.

Classroom location: CMH Regional Hospital 2nd Floor, Wilmington Ohio

Classroom location: 6th Floor

- Cafeteria: Tray line, dishwashing, stocking kitchenettes
- Clerical/Filing in Human Resources and other departments
- Environmental Services
- Mercy Healthplex: locker rooms, maintaining exercise equipment, child care
- Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy support aide and transporter
- Phlebotomy lab (specialized skill required)
- Radiology and Pharmacy (specialized skill required)
