In 1979, Sandra Medlock chose Diamond Oaks and the Commercial Art program.  Sandra believes her instructors were instrumental to her success. “My senior teacher, Dr. L.K. Patton (retired May 2002), was an incredible motivator. He introduced me to the power of positive thinking, spurring me on to higher levels of achievement.”  Sandra graduated with a 4.0 average and a scholarship. She attended University of Alabama for communications.  After nine years in the traditional workforce, Sandra’s career came full circle when she returned to Diamond Oaks to teach.  Sandra Ramey (nee Medlock) earned her master’s degree and a Vocational Teaching Certificate. She is a Certified Internet Webmaster.
