About the Great Oaks Alumni Association

The first students started classes at Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development over 30 years ago.  In the early 1970’s, career development was a new concept for southwestern Ohio.  Today, Great Oaks is the largest district of its type in the United States, serving 36 affiliated school districts in 12 counties touching approximately 3,000 students in workforce development programs and an additional 6000 students in programs and services at affiliated schools and industry based satellite units.  Great Oaks has achieved global recognition as a leader in career and technical education.

In addition, Great Oaks provides programs to serve adults with full- and part-time continuing education, workforce development courses and certification programs.

The Great Oaks Alumni Association is formed to maintain a relationship and support network with the thousands of students who have succeeded in our programs.  There is no membership fee.
