Glen Este graduate and Live Oaks alumnus, Kari Stevens wouldn’t change a thing about her high school education.  “I went to Live Oaks, quite simply, for the career opportunities.”  Growing up with a sister with a disability, Kari knew that working with children, especially those with special needs, was where her future would lie.  Kari currently works at Youthland Academy as a classroom floater and enthusiastically talks about her Live Oaks instructor Ms. Reeder.  “She cared so much about us and made us feel like family.  She respected us and that always showed through.”
