Mr. Holm said that his business has been in the St. Bernard area for 70 years. He relies on the H.V.A.C programs at Live Oaks and Scarlet Oaks campuses to provide well trained service technicians for his company. He has hired 9 technicians over the past 10 years. Mr. Holm says, "The Great Oaks program teaches the basics and teaches them the way they need to be taught. It gives technicians the hands-on experience and tools to be successful in this field." He also says that there is an incredible demand for H.V.A.C technicians, especially those who possess knowledge in the electricity and electronics areas. Mr. Holm wants students who have completed 900- hours of training, and who have a clean driving record, positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and mechanical ability. His company scored "highest" in customer service and satisfaction on the National C2000 Survey. He looks to Great Oaks to continue to provide his company with qualified service technicians.
