It’s afternoon, and the Pre-Engineering precision machining lab at Live Oaks is nearly empty. Fifteen of the nineteen high school seniors in the program are at work in several companies around Cincinnati. “Companies are snapping up my students,” said instructor Jeff Smith. He said the other four have co-op jobs waiting as soon as their grades improve.

Area sophomores and their parents who visited the Laurel Oaks open house on January 26th had the chance to see students in the Masonry program at their best.

In January, the auto collision programs from Diamond, Scarlet and Scarlet Adult Workforce Development attended and participated in the Cavalcade of Customs car show held at the Duke Energy center in downtown Cincinnati.
