Winter 2012
Winter has arrived and we would like to review our policy for school closings/delays due to snow. If your child’s affiliated school is closed/delayed for snow, please follow the affiliated schools closings/delays. Diamond will only close/delay when the majority of our affiliated schools close/delay. In the rare cases that Diamond is closed and their affiliated school is not, your child is not to report to Diamond. Be sure to watch the local news and listen to the local radio stations when severe weather occurs. We will also use our call system and post this information on the Great Oaks website at www.greatoaks.com to let you know of snow closings/delays.
Conference Night is Thursday, January 12, 2012 from 2:30-6:30 pm. All staff will be available to meet with parents. To schedule conferences for your child, please contact Kim Smith at smithk@greatoaks.com or 612-7002.
