Mission Medical - Health Science Careers

Do you enjoy helping people and want to work in the medical field?  If so, explore this rewarding career pathway in this hands-on interactive class.   Spend the week with a Registered Nurse comparing and contrasting various roles in specific health careers.  Investigate the many facets of the career pathway options in health care including education, licensures, requirements, pay rates, and much more.  Discover which path fits your passion and goals.

Start your Engines - Automotive Careers

Do you look at cars with beautiful body work and wonder how it is done?  Do you enjoy figuring out how cars can run their best?  Learn from ASE Master Certified Technician and ICAR Auto Body Specialist to operate the technology and tools used in their daily work.  Explore the many career pathways within the high tech automotive industry.

Cleared for Takeoff - Aviation Maintenance Careers

If you have a love of airplanes and want to know more about the mechanics of the plane, you will love this 1-week camp!  You will be introduced to the basics of proper maintenance for airplanes through doing interactive aviation related projects.  FFA certified airframe mechanics will guide you through make and take activities throughout the week.

Communicate with Art -  Design & Art Careers

Are you creative?  Ever wonder what art and creativity look like as a career?  Creative careers do exist and this design camp with introduce you to the elements used in art professions.  Spend the week with professional graphic artists to unlock your imagination.

Building The Future - Construction & Heavy Equipment Careers

If you like to build and are interested in how roads, building sites, and neighborhoods are prepared, come to this camp.  From small hand tools to large earthmoving equipment, you'll learn the basics of construction and site preparation from construction industry professionals with 46 years of combined experience.

FASST Camp - Exercise Science & Sports Medicine Careers

Involved in sports and want to learn from professional American College of Sports Medicine athletic trainers how to step up your game? This is the camp for you.  In addition to hands on Functional, Agility, Speed and Strength Training participants will also learn:
-Principles of Athletic Performance Nutrition
-Body Composition (How to take a skin-fold and bioelectrical impedance body fat analysis)
-Functional Movement Screening – and design a corrective exercise program for yourself to reduce the risk of injury in sport

Protect your Smile (Health and Wellness Camp) - Exercise Science & Dental Careers

What do coaches and health professionals have in common?  Each must have training in First Aid and CPR to learn how to recognize and respond to emergencies.  Explore wellness topics in this interactive camp to be a better stronger you.  Topics that will be covered include basic first aid, vital signs, how what you eat effects your health and teeth.  You will also get the opportunity to become CPR certified and mold a personal mouth piece to protect your smile.    American College of Sports Medicine Certified athletic trainer and professional dental hygienist will explore with you the amazing careers available in the health science career pathway.

Wired for Success - Electrical & Construction Careers

Like to watch DIY or HGTV renovation shows?  With this camp, you will learn skills to help avoid DIY disasters.  A licensed electrician and construction professionals with over 35 years of design, architectural, and building experience will introduce you to safety and construction skills.  You will learn the basics of how to remodel and wire electrical circuits using the tools and tips of the professionals.  Get enlightened about the amazing careers in the construction trades.

Friends of the Furry Ones - Animal Careers

Do you love all types of animals and have a strong interest in science?  This camp will indulge those interests by exposing you to the care and treatment of a wide variety of animals.  You'll get tips for training and caring for dogs, learn about and work with small animals such as rats and guinea pigs, all while exploring career options in the pet world.  During the week, you will work with an animal science professional and a registered veterinary technician with a wide variety of experience and connections.

Kitchen Creations - Culinary Careers

If you like watching the Food Network and love to create, prepare and serve beautiful delicious food, this camp is for you.  You will learn how to properly use and maintain kitchen and baking equipment used by professional chefs to master new baking and cooking skills to impress your friends and family.  Discover the secrets of our experienced American Culinary Federation Executive Chefs through hands on instruction in cooking basics, kitchen safety, and nutrition while creating and tasting delicious recipes.  Plus, you will get a recipe book of the weeks creations.

Find Your Drive - Car/Truck Mechanic Careers

Are you impressed by the size of the big rigs and wonder how they can haul such huge loads?  If so, check out this camp.  You will explore differences in passenger and commercial vehicles; gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and air brakes, proper jacking and wheel replacement, and so much more.  Big trucks require big tools and you will get to use what the professionals do while working with a professional certified diesel mechanic with 35 years of experience.  Explore a career path with plenty of horsepower to drive you to success!

Exploring Ag -  Horses, Animals, & Sustainable Urban Agriculture Careers

Are horses or other animals your passion?  Are you interested in learning to grow food in cities?  Involved in 4-H or FFA?  You'll learn about the care and training of horses and smaller animals along with techniques for urban gardening.  This unique opportunity allows you to connect with a Registered Veterinary Technician, Equine Professional, and Horticulturist while exploring career pathways in the agriculture, food & natural resources career cluster.  Start the seed for a growing career.
