The Testing and Assessment Center serves potential students and business and industry.
For incoming adult students:
All potential full-time students are required to take an entrance assessment. Students in other programs may also be required to take other assessments. These tests are designed to help students prepare to succeed in their program.
All prospective full-time students are required to take the Work Keys assessment. Schedule a test at Scarlet Oaks (513.771.8925), the Health Professions Academy (513-961.4220), or Laurel Oaks (937.382.1411).
Prospective EMT students are required to take the COMPASS entrance exam, offered at the Scarlet Oaks campus. Schedule test appointment with Public Safety Department (771-1142).
Prospective State Tested Nurse Aide (STNA) and Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) students are required to take an entrance exam (TABE), offered at the Health Professions Academy (513.961.4220), Laurel Oaks (937.382.1411) or Live Oaks (513.575.1900).
For business and industry:
Services for business and industry include assessments for selection, promotion, training and certification. Assessment instruments are delivered via paper/pencil, hands-on performance work samples and computerized testing. The Testing and Assessment Center staff is experienced in working closely with each individual or business to identify the assessment test(s) that measure the aptitudes and expertise needed for success in Great Oaks adult programs and in workplace settings.
